This children‘s hospital in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist for locum tenens coverage beginning December 2026 on an ongoing basis. The facility supports inpatient pediatric radiology services and is equipped with McKesson PACS and Epic Radiant. On-site support staff includes other MDs and radiology technicians to facilitate daily clinical operations.

Louisville, Kentucky offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests. Visitors may explore the Kentucky Science Center, Churchill Downs, the Louisville Zoo, and the Muhammad Ali Center. The area also features the Louisville Mega Cavern with underground zip-lining and aerial ropes courses, the Urban Bourbon Trail, and a waterfront park system spanning over 4,000 acres with hiking, biking, and paddling along 22 miles of Floyds Fork, along with dining, entertainment, and public transit options throughout downtown.

This on-site Pediatric Radiologist position provides 100% pediatric radiology coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight and weekend call required. Clinicians will interpret general radiology studies including plain films, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, as well as perform neuro CT reads and procedures such as intussusception reductions and emergent upper GI studies. Documentation is maintained through the Epic Radiant EMR system, and dictation is performed using Powerscribe. The expected daily case volume ranges from 60 to 120 studies per shift. Board certification in Pediatric Radiology is required for this assignment.
