Position Security Officer Patrol Detail – Nashville, TN (Part Time) Schedule DayTimeSat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while verifying identification, badges, and/or access permissions in accordance with site protocols. Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or public agency representatives regarding security-related concerns, directions, and incident updates as needed. Minimum Requirements Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
