What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors staff and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities in a medical examiner office environment.
• Monitor access points verify authorization as directed maintain visitor and contractor logs and help support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including offices corridors parking areas and perimeter locations and report unusual conditions or hazards.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity incident and observation reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
