- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses to ensure safety.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and assist with mobilization and rehabilitation.
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient progress accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care planning.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements.
- Hold a valid Kansas RN license.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent acute care Med/Surg or Tele experience.
- Possess BLS certification; NIH certification preferred.
- Experience with orthopedic injury, neurological conditions, or trauma cases.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records, specifically Meditech.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate every 3rd weekend.
