The Regional Manager reports to the Vice President of Store Operations and will oversee retail locations, employees and coordinate community engagement activities to enhance both business performance and customer satisfaction, always following Hollywood Feed's first policy: "Do what is right by the customer." This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 to $120,000 annually.

Regional Manager Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability.
• Guiding management staff in the Regional Manager's assigned region by setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing operational performance.
• Ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld.
• Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
• Recruiting, training, and supporting store staff as well as conducting regular performance appraisals on Store Manager's as policy requires.
• Develop and implement business, marketing, and advertising plans to drive revenue.
• Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
• Collaborate with Store Managers to develop sales goals for each location, monitor progress toward those goals and develop strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the store region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop territories, sales quotas, and strategies.
• Develop marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and;/or introduce new products and services.
• Assist with escalated customer issues, incident reports and staffing disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide leadership to the assigned region, overseeing retail activities and stores.

Employees and Store Development

• Oversee employees by leading and maintaining excellent customer service skills.
• Communicate openly and respectfully with employees, corporate office, and customers.
• Maintain and motivate a positive team that will increase sales and ensure efficiency through communication, incentives, and empowering your employees to take responsibility for their job and the store's goals.
• Foster a spirit of teamwork within your region.
• Maintaining employee's performance through coaching, communication, rewarding, counseling, and discipline.
• Performing a job performance appraisal for employees.
• Holding employees to the Hollywood Feed Standards of Business with a clean, organized, and safe location to ensure the protection of both customers and employees.
• Ensuring that all Hollywood Feed policies and procedures are followed, including compliance with legal requirements.
• Explore avenues to reach out into the community by attending or creating events to interact with the public via social media and maintain the store's online presence.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate the recruiting, and selecting of employees.
• Maintain operations by collaborating with store managers and developing and identifying cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 45 hours per week.
• Must have experience leading teams of 3 or more people.
• Must have the curiosity to research and implement new technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate employees.
• Ability to develop and maintain budgets.
• Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience (including learner's permit period).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to travel to all Hollywood Feed locations.
• Must have a clean driving record and may be required to drive the company vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Must own a reliable cell phone and be available via phone at any time the stores are open, including nights and weekends.
• Safely operate company vehicles and deliver Same Day Delivery orders in accordance with Hollywood Feed policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Utilize company approved biometric authentication systems and safely operate company equipment incorporating biometric, video, audio and other safety technologies. Reasonable accommodation requests will be evaluated through the interactive process in accordance with applicable law.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Able to sit or stand at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Physically able to perform the job functions and be available via phone at any time the stores are open, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to regularly travel throughout region.
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, along with bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and other physical movements essential to daily tasks.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR
• Extensive experience as sales manager required.
