Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor

How You'll Contribute Provides nursing leadership for an assigned shift by supervising and mentoring staff, managing staffing levels based on patient needs and acuity, and ensuring safe, high quality care. Assists with direct patient care and problem solving as needed, including taking patient assignments. Supports staff with necessary equipment and resources and integrates evidence based practices into clinical protocols. Addresses patient care concerns, coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers, and contributes to performance improvement initiatives. Conducts chart audits, supports staff development, fulfills preceptor requirements, and collaborates with nursing leadership on reports, projects, and regulatory compliance. Serves as a resource in the use of the EMR system. Qualifications Current state RN license. Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 3 months of employment. One year of experience preferred. Schedule: 3x12/4x10/5x8 shifts with days (7 a - 7 p) or nights (7 p - 7 a), rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend/every weekend), on call, holidays, etc. Flexibility may be required.
