Central North Carolina Regional Organizer

Role Description

We are seeking a Regional Organizer to help us engage women, expand our networks and encourage organizing in suburban communities within the Central North Carolina area between Forsyth and Wake counties.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and data skills.
• Vast network in targeted counties and beyond.
• Ability to confidently speak in front of both small and large groups.
• Willingness to work some nights and weekends for community events.

Requirements

• Frequent local or in-state travel to events.
• Ability to engage directly with community members, volunteers, and voters.
• Experience in organizing techniques and community engagement.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; EveryAction CRM preferred.

• Community Engagement and Relationship Building
  • Grow supporter base through events and campaigns.
  • Engage with community members and maintain relationships.
  • Research organizations and build coalitions.
  • Stay informed on local and statewide political issues.
• Event Planning and Participation
  • Organize and participate in events to foster community.
  • Train local women on organizing techniques.
• Local Research and Coalition Building
  • Research key organizations and political groups.
  • Keep state team leaders updated on relevant developments.
• Content and Media Support
  • Participate in digital content for online channels.
  • Manage state social media pages.
  • Support earned media opportunities.
• Team Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with the organizing team for events.
  • Maintain regular communication with team leaders.
• General and Administrative
  • Track work through metrics and data.
  • Develop a weekly schedule prioritizing community engagement.
  • Support the organizing team with events and meetings.
