Laboratory Specimen Processor
Labcorp
Labcorp is hiring a Laboratory Specimen Processor for its Brentwood, Tennessee facility to prepare, identify, and route biological specimens for testing. The role involves specimen handling, data entry, and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced laboratory environment working Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack, route, and label specimens to appropriate staging areas
- Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities
- Enter patient information accurately and timely into systems
- Document and resolve problem specimens; store excess samples properly
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort handling biological specimens
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced setting
Compensation: $750.00 sign-on bonus for external candidates
