Associate Assembler
Globus Medical
Globus Medical seeks an Associate Assembler to construct medical device components according to specifications in Memphis, TN. The role involves assembling parts, inspecting finished products for quality, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and parts according to work instructions and technical drawings
- Inspect completed assemblies to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Identify and report defective materials or assembly problems to supervisors
- Meet daily production targets and maintain organized, clean work stations
- Comply with OSHA guidelines, safety policies, and company quality procedures
Requirements
- 1–2 years of assembly or related manufacturing experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office and document management software
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision capabilities including close, distance, and color vision
- Comfort with physical demands including sitting, kneeling, stooping, and climbing
