Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: New Jersey

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), Every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must possess recent experience in the Emergency Department and demonstrate proficiency in Epic systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• BSN is required.
• Travel experience with completion of at least one contract assignment.
• High volume and fast pace experience preferred.
• New Jersey RN License or Compact License is required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• *Pending certifications or certifications expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted.
