Warehouse Backup Non-CDL Delivery Driver 2nd shift Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin Job type: Full time License: Regular license required Vehicle Type: Box truck/straight truck Schedule: 1:30pm start time Monday-Friday Hourly pay: $21.00 - $26.00/hr (Pay for experience) plus $1.50/hr 2nd shift differential Distance: Local deliveries - return home each night Learn about a day in the life of our drivers! What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Associate Backup Driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your delivery vehicle, followed by loading materials and packages to prepare for the day ahead. You will make local deliveries, contacting customers upon arrival and assisting them with unloading. As the face of our company, you’ll build strong relationships with customers who rely on your service and support. You will… Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route Transport and deliver products to customers with care Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers Fill orders and issues materials and supplies per requests. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies. Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Other warehouse duties as assigned.
