This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in corporate treasury, treasury consulting, financial services treasury, cash management, liquidity management, treasury operations, or finance transformation.Our Treasury Practice is part of a broader Finance Transformation solution focused on helping organizations modernize the Office of the CFO. Team members work directly with treasury, finance, accounting, and executive stakeholders to address complex treasury challenges, enhance operational effectiveness, improve liquidity management, strengthen governance, and support strategic transformation initiatives.This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial consulting environment while leveraging the resources and global reach of a leading professional services firm.Areas of FocusProfessionals in this role may have experience in one or more of the following areas:Treasury operations and process optimizationCash positioning and cash managementLiquidity management and working capital optimizationCash forecasting and forecasting governanceBank account management and banking relationship strategyPayments strategy and treasury operations transformationTreasury operating model design and organizational effectivenessTreasury policies, controls, governance, and complianceDebt and investment management processesTreasury risk management, including FX, interest rate, and commodity riskTreasury centralization and in-house banking strategiesFinancial services treasury functions, including liquidity, funding, capital management, balance sheet management, ALM, and treasury riskTreasury assessments, maturity evaluations, and roadmap developmentFinance transformation and broader CFO organization initiativesPosition OverviewAs a Senior Associate / Supervisor within our Treasury Practice, you will work closely with clients to assess treasury operations, identify improvement opportunities, design future-state capabilities, and support treasury transformation initiatives. You will serve as a key contributor on project teams, helping clients improve efficiency, strengthen controls, optimize liquidity, and align treasury operations with strategic business objectives.This role provides substantial exposure to senior treasury leaders and offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Treasury AdvisorySupport treasury transformation and operational improvement engagements across a variety of industries.Analyze current-state treasury processes, organizational structures, policies, and governance frameworks.Assist in the development of future-state treasury operating models and process improvements.Evaluate treasury performance and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, visibility, control, and scalability.Support treasury assessments, benchmarking studies, and maturity evaluations.Develop recommendations related to cash management, liquidity management, forecasting, payments, bank account administration, debt, investments, and risk management activities.Assist clients in establishing or enhancing treasury policies, procedures, controls, and governance structures.Facilitate client interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.Project DeliveryPrepare analyses, presentations, process maps, and client deliverables.Conduct data analysis to support treasury transformation initiatives and business case development.Organize project workstreams and assist with project planning and execution activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, tax, FP&A, risk management, and technology stakeholders.Support implementation of recommended treasury process improvements and operating model changes.Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities.Practice DevelopmentContribute to thought leadership, practice development initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities.Support proposal development, business development activities, and client pursuits.Assist in developing methodologies, templates, and treasury advisory assets.Mentor analysts and junior team members as appropriate.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in treasury, treasury consulting, corporate finance, banking, financial services treasury, or finance transformation.Experience in one or more treasury disciplines including:Cash managementLiquidity managementCash forecastingTreasury operationsPaymentsBank relationship managementDebt and investment managementTreasury risk managementTreasury governance and controlsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Experience evaluating business processes and developing operational improvement recommendations.Ability to communicate effectively with treasury teams, finance organizations, and executive stakeholders.Strong presentation, documentation, and workshop facilitation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and client deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment.Preferred QualificationsCorporate treasury experience within a large multinational organization.Treasury consulting or professional services experience.Treasury experience within banking, financial institutions, asset management, insurance, fintech, or other financial services organizations.Experience supporting treasury assessments, operating model redesign, treasury transformation, or finance transformation initiatives.Knowledge of treasury organizational structures, governance models, and leading practices.Understanding of liquidity management, cash forecasting, payments, treasury accounting, investments, funding, and treasury risk management.Familiarity with treasury technology capabilities and market solutions, although hands-on system implementation experience is not required.Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or progress toward certification preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations.Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients and project stakeholders.Why Join Our Treasury PracticeOur Treasury Practice helps organizations improve treasury performance through strategic advisory services, operational transformation, organizational design, governance enhancement, and treasury leading practices.
