Our plants are hand-grown in carefully controlled environments designed to minimize unwanted chemicals and pests, keeping the cultivation process as natural as possible every step of the way.Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Technical Procurement Manager to lead the strategic sourcing, negotiation, lifecycle management, source to pay, and optimization of technology contracts, software licensing agreements, and vendor relationships. This role is responsible for proactively managing software renewals, negotiating favorable commercial and legal terms, reducing technology spend, mitigating contractual risk, and ensuring the organization maximizes value from its technology investments.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Procurement & Vendor ManagementLead sourcing, procurement, and contract strategy for software, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital technology solutions.Develop and execute negotiation strategies that deliver measurable cost savings, contractual flexibility, and risk reduction.Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic technology vendors and partners.Continuously evaluate vendor performance, competitiveness, and market alternatives.Establish and manage vendor scorecards, performance reviews, and business reviews.Contract & Renewal Management in partnership with VMOOwn the end-to-end lifecycle of technology agreements, including new purchases, renewals, expansions, amendments, and terminations.Establish a proactive IT renewal management program that identifies upcoming renewals for 6-18 months in advance.Develop IT renewal strategies to leverage competitive alternatives and maximize negotiating position.Maintain IT contract repository, renewal calendar, licensing inventories, and financial commitments in partnership with VMO.Adhere to contract standardization and governance outlined by VMO. When applicable, provide recommendations for optimization.Software Licensing OptimizationAnalyze and optimize software licensing usage, entitlements, and consumption patterns.Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, consolidate vendors, reduce redundancy, and improve utilization.Ensure compliance with vendor licensing requirements while protecting the company from unnecessary audits and penalties.Advise stakeholders on licensing models including: SaaS Subscription, Cloud consumption, Enterprise agreements, User-based licensing, Consumption-based licensing, AI usage models, Security platform licensing.Negotiation & Commercial ManagementLead complex negotiations involving: Enterprise software agreements, Cloud service providers, AI platforms and services, Cybersecurity solutions, Managed service agreements, Professional services contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Data processing agreements.Negotiate favorable pricing, discount structures, renewal protections, audit clauses, service levels, support commitments, liability limitations, termination rights, and data ownership provisions.Leverage market intelligence and benchmark data to secure best-in-class commercial terms.Risk, Compliance & GovernancePartner with Legal and Information Security teams to assess contractual and operational risk.Ensure contracts contain appropriate protections for: Data privacy, Information security, AI governance, Regulatory compliance, Intellectual property rights, Business continuity, SOX controls.Support vendor risk management and third-party assessment processes.Financial ManagementDevelop multi-year technology, spending forecasts and renewal roadmaps.Manage procurement budgets and financial modeling for major technology investments.Track realized cost savings, cost avoidance, and procurement value delivery.Provide executive reporting and recommendations regarding technology investments and vendor strategy.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or technology category management experience.Minimum 7 years negotiating enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, and technology contracts.Demonstrated experience managing major technology vendors including, but not limited to Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, Google Cloud, ServiceNow, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, VMware, and similar enterprise providers.Strong understanding of: Software licensing models, Cloud economics, SaaS agreements, AI platforms and licensing, Cybersecurity technologies, Enterprise procurement best practices.Proven track record delivering measurable cost savings and commercial improvements.Experience partnering with Legal, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Executive Leadership teams.Strong analytical, financial, and contract review capabilities.Preferred Qualifications:MBA or advanced business degree.Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).Certified Technology Procurement Professional (CTPP).IT Asset Management (ITAM) certification.Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM).Experience supporting highly regulated industries.Experience negotiating AI platform agreements, cloud consumption contracts, cybersecurity licensing agreements, and enterprise-wide technology transformations.Key Competencies:Negotiation ExcellenceCommercial AcumenStrategic ThinkingStakeholder LeadershipAnalytical RigorSuccess Measures:Within the first 12 months, the Senior Technical Procurement Manager will:Deliver measurable software and technology cost savings.Establish a proactive renewal management process covering 100% of strategic contracts.Improve contract terms and risk protections across critical vendor agreements.Increase visibility into licensing utilization and optimization opportunities.Build executive-level relationships with key strategic vendors.Create a multi-year technology sourcing and renewal roadmap aligned with business objectives.Target Impact:Reduce technology spending, improve contractual protections, maximize licensing value, and create a disciplined procurement function that consistently secures advantageous agreements for the organization.Please apply directly through our official careers site or authorized recruitment channels.
