Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) position requiring at least 1 year of travel experience and 2 years of clinical experience, with every other weekend availability.

Job Details

• High-acuity 30-bed PCU/Stepdown Intermediate Care unit,
• Complex patient population including post open heart surgery, post-TAVR, post-pacemaker, drip titrations, chest tubes, and BiPAP management,
• Day shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM,
• Every other weekend required,
• 36-48 hour contracts accepted,
• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Active FL RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand,
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required,
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required,
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required,
• Two professional references required for consideration,
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration,
• Copy of RN license and Nursys verification required for consideration,
