About the Position

Longmont United Hospital | Longmont, CO

• Role: Inpatient/ER call for OB deliveries, including C-sections, and GYN emergencies at a Level III trauma facility. Approximately 30 deliveries per month and one admission per day; eight beds. In-house anesthesia available; family practice backup, no midwives.
• Schedule: Any three days between Dec. 7–17; some date flexibility. Ongoing need: 11–12 shifts per month across all locums, with additional dates released as schedules become available. Must be willing and able to work 24-hour shifts. Facility generally schedules 2–3-day stints; source also lists a four-consecutive-day maximum—confirm stint limits.
• Requested rates: 24-hour call includes four gratis hours. Tier 1: $2,640 or less/call and callback $320 or less; Tier 2: $2,640.80–$2,800/call and callback $320.80–$360. Average worked callback: 2.9 hours weekdays; 5.36 hours weekends. Rates outside these ranges require AM approval.
• Submission deadline: 26 at 3 p.m. EST, as listed by the facility.
• Credentialing: Temporary privileges approximately 60 days; full privileges approximately 120 days. Additional SAN privileges are optional; most or all coverage is at LUH.
• Travel: Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred. Required lodging when available: Hampton Inn, 850 S. Main St., Longmont; . Reference Centura Health or LUH for the negotiated rate. If unavailable, follow CommonSpirit Health travel policy.

Shared Requirements & Onboarding

• Licensure: Colorado license or active IMLC and a self-query NPDB report required to release the preapplication.
• Applications: Submit both preapplication and full application within 72 hours of receiving the initial application. This initiates EMR account creation, which can take up to five days.
• Epic training: Complete learning modules before virtual training; finish virtual training at least one week before the first shift. First-day details are released only after required modules and training are complete.
• Candidate submission: Include years of Epic experience, last use (MM/YYYY), last facility using Epic, badge-quality photo, time zone, best call-shift phone number, and personal email.
• Travel submission: Include departure city and any anticipated travel exceptions at presentation; exceptions not disclosed then will be denied.
• Billing: Neither assignment is designated as services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for 60 days or less.
