Application Engineer

Job TitleJob responsibilities include motivation to help Soundwich succeed within job classification responsibilities, evaluating new opportunities, estimating material costs and manufacturing time, analyzing techniques and recommending changes, supporting engineering and production teams, interacting with customers, receiving and documenting customer specifications, attending tech reviews, planning and completing testing, supporting product release, troubleshooting equipment, training operators, programming and operating laser cutting work center, and understanding company procedures and policies.Requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office, mechanical design knowledge, manufacturing experience, strong leadership and teamworking skills, strong communication skills, vision to AWS D17.2 Section 4.4.1.1, AWS Resistance Welder Technician certification, and minimum language skills in English.Education includes an engineering degree or equivalent work experience, automotive and aerospace background, 2+ years of experience in using CAD software, working knowledge of GD&T, FEA experience, metrology experience, PPAP and FAI.
