JWB Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager on behalf of an established hospitality group in New York City.
We're looking for a hands-on, service-driven leader with strong operational experience, a true passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to lead and develop successful teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a General Manager or in a comparable senior restaurant leadership role
- Restaurant opening experience; building SOPs and SOS
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial performance, budgeting, and cost controls
- Proven ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing teams
- Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the floor
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment
- Loyalty and recent longevity; 3+ years with a company
Additional Experience That May Be Valuable:
- High-volume restaurant or multi-unit operations
- Strong beverage and bar operations experience
- Experience driving operational improvements and business growth
- NYC neighborhood restaurant experience with regulars
