Deposit Operations Specialist ILocation: College Station, TXSummaryResponsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Operations Team.Assists banking centers and clients with resolving operational and client issues. Researches and resolves problems using various resources.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesMonitors and works "Account Services" emails and "service events"Handles client issues that are CIF and deposit relatedWorks with and monitors various reports including CIF, new accounts, CDs, closed accounts, fee waivers, large dollar returns, Reg CC, Reg D and others as neededWorks with and processes Exception Processing items: non-post, overdraft, and deposit item returnsBalancing general ledger accounts, assists with buying and selling foreign currency as well as foreign collection items, and other products and services as neededMonitoring and documenting fraudulent account activityProcessing adjustments and discrepancy'sProcesses lockbox and other client servicesProvided support to various departmentsScanning and input of client informationEnsuring compliance with all deposit related regulationsAdditional duties that may be assigned from time to timeMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredOne or more years banking experienceExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesAttention to detail and adherence to policies and proceduresKnowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations state and federal.Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, WordPosition will require flexible hours from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily and on occasion weekends will be required.
