Deposit Operations Specialist IIResponsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Operations Team.Assists banking centers and clients with resolving operational and client issues. Researches and resolves problems using various resources.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesMonitors and works "Account Services" emails and "service events"Reviews our fraud detection system for any suspicious or fraudulent activityHandles client issues that are CIF and deposit relatedWorks with and monitors various reports including: CIF, new accounts, CDs, closed accounts, fee waivers, large items, Reg CC, Reg D and others as neededWorks with and processes non-post items, overdraft items and deposit item returnsBalances general ledger accounts, assists with buying and selling foreign currency as well as foreign collection items, and other products and services as neededAssist with tracking and documentation on legal itemsProcesses lockbox and other client servicesScanning and input of client informationEnsuring compliance with all deposit related regulationsAdditional duties that may be assigned from time to timeMinimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredThree or more years banking experienceExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesInterpretation of Bank policies and procedures to correctly assist/guide internal clientsAttention to detail and adherence to policies and proceduresMust be able to multi-taskProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with different types of banking softwareKnowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and state and federal banking regulations.Position will require flexible hours from 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily and rotated schedule for Saturday hours 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
