Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Cold Spring, NY. This role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision parts in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate has strong machining experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both) according to job specifications
• Load materials and ensure proper machine setup and alignment
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Maintain production output while meeting strict quality standards
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously when required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a CNC Machine Operator required
• Experience with mills, lathes, or similar CNC equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection processes
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed
