Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.38 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon – 02:45 PM - 10:45 PM Tue – 02:45 PM - 10:45 PM Fri – 06:45 AM - 02:45 PM Sat – 06:45 AM - 02:45 PM Sun – 02:45 PM - 10:45 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and visitor questions, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
