Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a high-visibility public-sector customer service program in San Antonio, TX. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced customer service professional with a background in telecommunications, account support, customer success, or call center operations.

In this onsite role, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, helping resolve billing questions, escalated concerns, product inquiries, and technical issues with professionalism and empathy. Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional customer service support for public-sector customers in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, escalations, billing questions, product concerns, and service-related issues.
- Troubleshoot customer problems, identify solutions, and create positive outcomes during challenging interactions.
- Document customer interactions, resolutions, follow-up actions, and open issues accurately in CRM systems.
- Communicate clearly with customers, internal teams, business partners, and support groups to drive timely resolution.
- Adapt to changing processes, priorities, schedules, and business needs while maintaining a customer-first approach.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $19.50 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: San Antonio, TX 78235.
- Work Arrangement: 100% onsite.
- Start Date: October 26, 2026.
- Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Available Work Schedules: Monday through Friday, with shifts available from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support customer inquiries, escalations, billing concerns, and product-related questions.
- Troubleshoot service issues and identify practical solutions for customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records, case notes, and follow-up activity in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, support teams, and internal partners to resolve complex customer issues.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, account management, or customer success.
- At least 2 years of telecommunications customer service experience.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Workflow Manager.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to document information accurately.
- Ability to remain professional, patient, and empathetic during escalated or challenging conversations.
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs, processes, and work schedules.
- Ability to work onsite in a secure environment with restrictions on personal electronics and unauthorized materials.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting government or public-sector customers.
- Experience resolving billing inquiries, product questions, and complex customer issues.
- Technical troubleshooting experience involving hardware, software, applications, networks, or devices.
- Previous experience in a telecommunications technical call center.
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 technical support experience.
