Job Summary The Merchandise Associate plays a key role in creating an unforgettable game day experience for fans. Our retail team delivers exceptional service, showcases merchandise with pride, and ensures every fan leaves with a legendary impression. Essential Functions Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting fans, identifying their needs, and making personalized sales recommendations. Maintain an energetic, positive, and engaging atmosphere for both fans and team members. Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems with accuracy and efficiency. Present and upsell merchandise by highlighting features, benefits, and promotions. Support merchandising standards, including plan‑ogram execution, product placement, and visual displays. Assist with store set‑up, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Participate in inventory management, including counts, accuracy checks, and control procedures. Stay informed on current promotions, in‑store events, and venue events to better assist fans. Collaborate with the team to ensure gift shop/event retail locations are prepared and visually appealing. All other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and sales skills with the ability to engage diverse fan groups. Ability to receive and apply feedback to improve performance. Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime during events. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a retail or customer service environment. Accuracy in handling cash, POS transactions, and opening/closing procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for long periods. Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Availability for 35–40+ hours per week, with flexibility to assist in other areas as needed.
