Senior Business Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)

Duration: 15+ months

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide excellent customer service and support for project and work request needs within the department. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the department and project stakeholders, facilitating and eliciting requirements to develop strategies and enhancements for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitating requirements elicitation meetings and performing gap fit analysis.
Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
Preparing and documenting Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work.
Assisting with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements.
Working with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements.
Documenting and providing knowledge transfer to the Enterprise Reporting Team.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation.
Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development projects.
Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management to determine strategy and develop road maps.
Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to work agreements/contracts.
Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.
Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
