Operations Manager

Location: Summerville, SC | Reports to: Director, Operations | Team: 6 direct reports About the Role We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our facility, overseeing both light assembly production and logistics functions (warehousing, shipping, and receiving). This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building efficient, well‑run teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across light assembly production and warehouse/logistics functions Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of 6 employees, including scheduling and performance management Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines Manage inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipping processes Monitor production quality and ensure assembly work meets company standards Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility in compliance with safety regulations Track key operational metrics (throughput, on‑time shipping, inventory accuracy, labor hours) and report to leadership Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and vendors as needed Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and warehouse systems (WMS, ERP, etc.) Handle day‑to‑day problem‑solving, from staffing gaps to production or shipping delays Qualifications 3+ years of experience in operations, production, or warehouse management (supervisory experience required) Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering degree or experience preferred Continuous Improvement toolbelt (Lean, 5S, OpExc) Working knowledge of light manufacturing/assembly processes and warehouse operations (receiving, put‑away, picking, shipping) Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a small team Familiarity with inventory management and/or WMS/ERP systems Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
