Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement personalized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through guided exercises and modalities
• Document patient progress accurately and keep the care team informed of changes
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
• Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment in a skilled nursing setting
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire (or compact eligibility)
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• A caring, positive attitude and the desire to make a real difference

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and rehabilitation techniques
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
