TIG Welder Opportunity in Spokane Valley

Join our dynamic team as a Welder, specializing in TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel. You will primarily focus on creating pizza pans, with the opportunity to also produce pizza cutters and other commercial products. Utilize your skills with a TIG welder machine equipped with a foot pedal to fuse corners at a 90-degree angle. Gain experience in both tack welding and potentially some MIG welding on stainless steel racks.

Shift: 6a-2:30p (M-F)

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel using a foot pedal-operated TIG welder.
• Fuse corners of pizza pans with four welds at a 90-degree angle.
• Engage in tack welding and develop skills in this area.
• Create pizza pans, cutters, and other commercial products.
• Potentially perform MIG welding on stainless steel racks.
• Read and interpret blueprints with precision.
• Adhere to production targets, starting with 25 pans, increasing to 50, and ultimately aiming for 400 pans per day.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Basic welding experience and the ability to follow directions.
• Capability to read blueprints with precision and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Willingness to cross-train into different departments as needed.
• Strong attendance and positive attitude.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
