Role Description

• Craft Tailored Therapy Approaches: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy protocols to support their goals for functional improvement
• Deliver Interventions: Implement evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand in hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to create comprehensive, holistic treatment plans
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to facilitate continuous progress in their recovery journey
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor patient developments and refine treatment strategies accordingly to ensure continued success

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Licensing

• A valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
