Job Summary:
The respiratory therapist (RRT) position is located in Hickory, North Carolina. This role involves working on the first floor in the Respiratory Therapy department at a facility that offers a comprehensive range of respiratory and critical care services. Candidates are required to bring their RRT license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); North Carolina RRT license (Registry required); minimum associate degree in respiratory care; 0 years of experience required (preferred 2 years).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency department (ED), critical care, or nursery settings; 2 years of experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Travelers must start on one of the following dates: 07/20/2026, 08/03/2026, 08/17/2026, 08/31/2026, 09/14/2026, 09/28/2026, 10/12/2026, 10/26/2026, 11/09/2026, 11/16/2026, or 12/07/2026.
• Unit Information: 81-bed adult behavioral health hospital with various specialty centers; total hospital bed count 355; diverse respiratory equipment including ventilators and blood gas analyzers.
• Patient Population: All ages, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients.
• Dress Code: Scrubs (gray or black preferred, solid colors only, no prints).
• Number of Positions: 1 (Contractor Replacement)
• Float Requirements: No
