If you excel in a dynamic, student‑centered, outcomes‑focused environment and you’re passionate about making a real difference in the lives of individuals through communication and language development — We Should Talk! As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will provide high‑quality speech therapy services customized to meet the individual diagnoses and needs of designated students in order to achieve speech therapy goals and improve overall speech functioning. This includes but is not limited to direct instruction, prescriptive evaluation, consulting with parents or guardians and representatives from the home school district, writing IEP goals and interventions, monitoring students’ progress toward goals, attending IEP meetings and collaborating with educational teams to enhance students’ communication skills and overall development. Evaluating students’ communication strengths and needs to design and implement individualized, evidence‑based speech therapy programs aligned with collaborative treatment goals developed alongside educators and families. Establishing and nurturing clear, respectful communication with families to facilitate consistent scheduling, address challenges proactively, and coordinate make‑up sessions as needed. Communicating practical strategies with parents and service providers to support the seamless carryover of speech and communication goals into home and school routines. Conducting thorough clinical assessments, recommending appropriate, evidence‑based treatment plans, and managing their implementation to uphold high standards of clinical excellence. Ensuring timely completion of intake processes, ongoing evaluation of therapy plans, and progress toward clinical performance indicators to maintain continuity of care. Collaborating with clients and families to foster strong, trusting therapeutic relationships that support goal achievement and long‑term communication success. Providing clinical guidance and supervision in both home and community‑based settings to ensure program fidelity and responsive caregiver support.
