You'll be working school hours, from 8:35am to 3:25pm, starting as soon as possible and continuing through November or December.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and individualized instruction
• Familiarity with curriculum adaptation and resource room models
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to two primary grades within a resource room environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Conduct ongoing assessment and document student progress
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages growth and confidence
