Territory Manager

About this Position Territory Manager – Route Delivery Driver The Territory Manager reports to the Area Manager and is a route sales delivery person with a focus on servicing and expanding our existing customer base. Key business segments include offices, professional services, fine dining, casual & family restaurants, hotels & conference centers, coffee shops, resorts, clubs, healthcare facilities, colleges and universities. Providing outstanding service is the responsibility of every Royal Cup employee and is key to success. Key Responsibilities Master all aspects of route operations including best inventory practices, safe driving, and customer service. Achieve goals set by the manager for safety, inventory, schedule compliance and promotions. Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. Perform all other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license and good driving record. Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one during the hiring process. Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures. Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Ability to work independently while also being a team player with a strong work ethic. Professional appearance and demeanor with an outgoing, success-driven personality. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to operate office equipment. Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and interpret correspondence. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Flexibility to work some nights and weekends as needed. Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally for meetings, training, or work-related events. Successful completion of the pre-employment process. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of experience as a route delivery driver. Experience within the foodservice environment. Physical Requirements Ability to safely climb stairs or ramps at customer locations and in and out of trucks. Ability to sit and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to use hand tools and manipulate buttons or levers of equipment. Ability to push or pull up to 250 lbs with a hand truck and lift equipment or product up to 55 lbs. Ability to carry product up to 40 lbs.
