Accounting ManagerDirect Hire | $120,000-$130,000 | Onsite - Rancho Cucamonga, CAA well-established, privately held manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong manufacturing or construction experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and partnering closely with senior leadership.The Accounting Manager will report directly to the CFO and oversee higher-level accounting and financial activities while providing leadership to an experienced accounting team. The ideal candidate will take the time to understand the existing department, processes, and team dynamics before identifying opportunities for improvement.What You'll DoOversee month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger activity, and overall accounting accuracyReview financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysesOversee job costing, work-in-process (WIP) reporting, and percentage-of-completion accountingEnsure accounting records and financial reporting are accurate, timely, and compliant with GAAPProvide leadership, guidance, and support to the accounting teamPartner closely with the CFO and senior leadership on accounting, reporting, and financial prioritiesReview and improve accounting processes while maintaining an understanding of established procedures and team responsibilitiesSupport multi-state sales tax compliance and related accounting activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting within a largely manual accounting environmentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceExperience within a manufacturing or construction environmentPrevious management or leadership experienceHands-on experience with WIP and job costingExperience with percentage-of-completion accountingKnowledge of multi-state sales taxStrong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closeStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsA collaborative leadership style with the ability to build trust and relationships before implementing changeWhy This Opportunity?Join a long-established, family-owned manufacturing organizationWork directly with the CFO and senior leadershipLead higher-level accounting and finance functions while partnering with an experienced accounting teamOpportunity to help improve and modernize processes over timeStable, established organization with a collaborative team environment
