Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
The Production Operator is responsible for achieving daily production targets while ensuring quality and timely shipment of orders. The role involves using various measuring tools to confirm quality and handling equipment such as cranes and hand tools.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate production equipment.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems associated with job setup.
* Adhere to proper feeds, speeds, and settings to maximize production levels.
* Safely operate cranes, hoists, and PIVs to move materials throughout the facility.
* Ensure all related tasks are completed accurately within department-specific takt times.
* Complete short cycle tasks within less than 2 hours, maintaining tolerance of approximately +/- .003.
* Inspect work prior to the next operation.
* Use computers to expedite parts to meet customer demands.
* Maintain all necessary documentation related to quality and productivity.
Essential Skills
* Ability to read and work off blueprints/sketches without deviation.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
* Skill in using measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
* Work with a positive and professional attitude while respecting others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Previous manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred.

Work Environment
Work on the 3rd Shift from 10pm to 6:30am, Monday to Friday. Operate in a facility equipped with advanced material handling technologies. Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Greene, NY. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
