Part Time Social Media Manager

:

High end gift and gourmet food gifting company seeks a part-time Social Media Manager to support their growing business.

Hours/Schedule: approximately 5-7 hours/week, with flexible scheduling

Job Type: Contract

Location Requirements : Mostly Remote with some onsite requirements at the Quincy store, or in Milton. Candidate should be local to the Greater Boston area.

Rate: $50-$60/hr, based on experience

: Proactively use social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) to promote client, drive in person and online store traffic and increase corporate gifting partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Creating overall social media plan for each platform, executing on this plan
• Engagement with targeted market + responses on social
• Content creation and copy for all platforms
• Find and manage any additional platforms beneficial to client & overall goal
• Provide tactical input on message creation and delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in communication, journalism, English, marketing or related field
• 5+ years of copy writing experience; ideally with a focus on high-end retail products or a customer service related field
• Well-versed in the latest social, mobile and local networks such as Linked-in, Instagram, and Twitter
• Superior writer with an elevated eye for detail and flair for language
• Ability to write for a variety of mediums
• Superior interpersonal communication skills and ability to work on a cross-functional team
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Open to feedback and ability to take direction
