Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Independently evaluate patients preoperatively to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across multiple specialties.
• Place and manage regional anesthesia blocks.
• Manage intraoperative anesthetic care, continuously adjusting for patient needs.
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery evaluation and management.
• Partner with surgical teams, nursing staff, and specialty providers to coordinate care.
• Participate in patient safety initiatives, case reviews, and quality improvement efforts.
• Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia plans, risks, and postoperative expectations.

Qualifications:

• Current CRNA certification
• Active Kansas license (or ability to obtain)
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
