Job Title: Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Experience in outpatient clinic settings Description: This is an outpatient RN role working in Family Practice. The RN will assist with patient care and in-basket work. The RN will follow up on patient needs and assist with point-of-care testing and immunizations. Epic is the electronic medical record system used. This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule. RNs should be aware that this is an outpatient clinic role and will not involve bedside nursing. The position may require floating between different clinics depending on needs. On-call or weekend shifts are not required for this role. The RN should be comfortable with a five-day work week consisting of eight-hour shifts. A four-day work week with ten-hour shifts may be an option. All candidates should be prepared to float within the facility when necessary. References are required covering one year within the last three years. Candidates must respond to specific questions regarding prior employment in similar roles.
