Android Os And Mobile App Development Engineer
10+ years of experience in AOSP, Android OS and mobile app development engineer who has development experience in Android/iOS at the connectivity aspects of the modem side, Wi-Fi, all the cellular connections, mainly from the platform standpoint. Desirable skills include experience on core Java and Kotlin, strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, very good understanding of modem in UE, knowledge on connectivity interfaces between UE and the network, understanding of voice events generation, expertise on permissions and privileges within the AOSP and applications, experience on fetching OS and carrier specific data from Android mobile devices mainly network attributes that can help in diagnosing customer service issues, familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services, strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning, knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks, ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications, understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines, proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, familiarity with continuous integration.
