Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of experience specializing in employment and/or business litigation. Duties: Manage a caseload of litigation matters, primarily on employment and/or business disputes. Conducted legal research and drafted pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Collaborate with colleagues to strategize and develop case theories. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments. Requirements: 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for employment and/or business litigation. Demonstrated case management and deposition experience. Trial experience is considered advantageous. Strong research and writing skills, with proficiency in law and motion practice. J.D. from an accredited law school. In good standing with the California State Bar. Education and Certifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to and current good standing with the California State Bar. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Adaptability to evolving legal landscapes and case requirements.
