Employment Specialist (IDD Services - Part Time)

Community Options, Inc. We are a national non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. Now Hiring a Part‑time Employment Specialist Location: Rockville, MD Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities Provide the necessary assistance for people with disabilities to be placed in competitive employment. Coach the person with disabilities to develop independent job skills. Work side‑by‑side with persons with disabilities at job sites. Reinforce essential skills or teach new skills such as developing a resume, conducting a successful job interview, and completing a job application. Accurately complete all documentation. Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned. Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of full‑time work experience in supporting people with disabilities. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing. Why Community Options?
