Job Description

Cardinal Staffing is screening for a production position at a small craft distillery in Temperance, MI. If you are thirsty for a fast paced, energetic environment, apply to join their team! Must be able to pass a food safety test and adhere to their strict food safe dress code. MUST be at least 21 years old to apply
This temp-to-hire position runs 6:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday, with OT available. Pay starts at $17/hr.
Key Responsibilities: (Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned)

1. Follow all safety and quality guidelines with an elevated sense of urgency and attention to detail
2. Produce, Pack, and Inspect raw materials and finished goods
3. Load raw material into equipment; catch, label, stamp, and pack finished goods
4. Set up and assemble materials and packaging
5. Move raw materials and finished goods to specified areas
6. Complete Quality Assurance throughout the production process
7. Initiate immediate Quality & Supervision Review's for any suspect or defective products and packaging
8. Participate in training of new employees
9. Uphold standards for cleanliness and safe work environments, ensure your work area's meet these expectations

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred, with 0-1 year of production or manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Strong ability to efficiently remain organized, detailed oriented and tactful while communicating
3. Ability to follow standard operating procedures
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and independently
