Project Manager

Job Description

The client is seeking a Project Manager to support a large-scale initiative across its store portfolio. This individual will manage complex merchandising and store execution projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, and workstreams to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to plan.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously, and can effectively drive cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of flooring optimization projects within retail stores.

• Coordinate with Merchandising Planners, Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IPR), Space Planning, and other cross-functional partners.

• Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Partner with third-party vendors responsible for installation, product ordering, and display execution.

• Ensure product transitions, clearance activities, and planogram (POG) updates are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Monitor project risks and proactively identify solutions to keep initiatives on track.

• Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to key stakeholders.

• Analyze store-level and SKU-level data to identify trends, support decision making, and ensure successful project outcomes.

• Track multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail and execution excellence.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive projects from planning through execution.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to problem-solve independently and proactively identify solutions.

• Proven success coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex, fast-moving initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:

o Pivot Tables

o VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

o Data analysis and reporting

o Basic chart creation and visualization

• Ability to interpret large datasets and communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Experience with project management tools and reporting platforms is preferred.

• Previous Home Depot experience is a plus.
