• FOOD SERVICE COOK (Inwood, NY)

Starting Pay: $23.50/hr.

JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare and produce food in high-volume settings based on established menus and recipes  

• Perform cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and sauce preparation  

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards  

• Monitor food usage and minimize waste  

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment  

• Support additional kitchen operations as needed  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in high-volume food service environments  

• Experience or exposure to menu development preferred  

• Food Handler certification or ability to obtain  

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workload effectively  

• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
