Position Description The Human Resources Business Partner works with business managers, colleagues and employees to implement appropriate strategies, plans and interventions to develop and/or maintain a high performing business/function and create an experience where employees are engaged in their jobs and see the Company as a preferred organization to work for. Areas of focus typically include: administering and coordinating human resources policy, talent acquisition and on-boarding, implementing human resources initiatives, benefits administration, HR system maintenance, driving people strategy, diversity planning, performance management, and supporting change management. HLAs – HIGH LEVERAGE ACTIVITIES (focus actions that Partner with management to ensure effectiveness of various Human Resources processes, policies and initiatives. Perform customer service functions by answering management and employee requests and questions. Ensure appropriate controls are in place and managed effectively for all critical HR processes. Key Responsibilities And Performance Measures Work closely with the management team to identify the current and future needs of the business and develop/lead HR strategies, priorities, plans and interventions to ensure successful results. Consult with managers on all disciplinary and performance issues. Interpret and provide advice on employee related policies, programs, and procedures. Provide guidance and oversight to managers on pay and incentive matters. Administer and coordinate new employee on-boarding (recruiting, pre-screens, reference checks, employment inquiries, application management, and orientation). Process new hires and terminations. Maintain employee files and documentation required from employees.
