Events & Education Lead (Full-Time) - Eataly Chicago The Education and Events Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Education & Events Manager. Responsibilities Execute public and private in‑person events including specialized cooking, wine, and food knowledge classes, group reservations, press events, tastings, and private receptions. Supervise staff members during events to ensure smooth execution. Write and monitor class descriptions; compile instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and sales contracts; create class registration pages online. Communicate with guests regarding class and event registration. Foster accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events. Build and manage client lists and relationships. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing, or event planning. Excellent organizational, project management, and time‑management skills. Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy. Proficiency in Italian language preferred. Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
