About the Role Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Process Engineer for our manufacturing plant located in Cherokee, AL. We’re looking for people who embody our values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. If this is you, we’d love to talk. What You Will Do Act as a Role Model for Safety Set, monitor and improve processes according to Statistical Process Control methods Set and save process settings and standards (e.g., center lining, CIL) and facilitate application of standards/system Support product/material development and project implementation. Master DDS zero loss flow chart and coach teams in application Own technical gap analysis of area of responsibility Lead small group activity in own technology area; expert for process and technology for lines Continuously optimize production processes sustainably through RCA and standardization Train and coach operation teams to improve behaviors to defined standards and procedures Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Paper Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or other related engineering field preferred; equivalent experience accepted Minimum of 1 year of process engineering experience required High speed equipment experience strongly preferred Maintenance planning or Continuous Improvement methodology experience preferred Project management experience preferred Skill in SAP or another CMMS and MES Skill in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to lead teams through change and improvement What We Can Offer You At Essity, we believe every career is unique and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
