Travel Nicu Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Weekend Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Description The Travel Nicu Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care for a variety of patients, ranging from stable feeder-growers to critically ill level 3 patients in a 40-bed unit. This position includes responsibilities such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to Nicu patients. Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Support families with emotional and informational needs. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in Indiana. ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 3 Nicu setting. Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
