The Registered Nurse will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with departmental needs and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Working alongside medical providers and other care team members, the RN will offer individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

• Regularly assess patient pain to ensure effective pain management, including follow-up assessments after interventions.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, documenting care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Deliver exceptional care by responding swiftly to patient requests and proactively addressing their needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, simplifying complex medical terminology for better understanding.
• Guide patients, families, and caregivers on non-medical follow-up measures, such as healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and self-management strategies.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment.
• Must be a Registered Nurse.
• Possess an Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience as an Emergency Department RN is highly preferred.
