Job Description Under the direction of the Pool Bar Assistant Manager, the server is responsible for serving both food and beverages to guests throughout the pool bar and surrounding area, ensuring a positive guest experience. Essential Job Functions Greet and serve guests in a timely and courteous manner. Take guest orders, serve food, and drinks. Be familiar with all menu specifications and abbreviations. Adhere to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, and all related materials. Collect various forms of payment in a courteous and efficient manner. Be knowledgeable of restaurant ordering systems and expediting systems. Communicate with the kitchen expeditor, check order duplicates for correctness, and communicate discrepancies to the expeditor. Complete all set‑up and closing duties in a timely fashion. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment within the area of responsibility. Handle and solve any concerns and questions customers may have, or relay guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Assistant Manager on duty. Promote positive public/employee relations at all times. Perform other assignments as directed. Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of high‑volume food service; table service restaurant experience highly preferred. Must be able to carry trays that weigh a minimum of 10 lbs on one arm. Ability to deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere making guests want to return and giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in effort to achieve organizational goals. Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and an outgoing personality, while projecting a professional appearance. Must be comfortable wearing short shorts and a top that reveals the abdomen area. Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold weather. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. The department operates from sunup to sundown; management expects the ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays. Schedules Start times: 10:00am & 12:00pm. On‑call status team members are scheduled for 2 or 3 days per week. Part‑time status team members are scheduled for 3 or 4 days per week. Full‑time status team members are scheduled for 5 days per week. During daylight savings, which starts in November, all team members will work from 10:00am-6:00pm. It is mandatory that new hires have complete availability for all shifts during their first two weeks of training. Work Environment Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms; lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. The work environment may be hectic, fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy. Position is exposed to various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold weather. May be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors such as secondhand smoke, excess noise, and constant exposure to the general public. Closing The Tribal Council gives preference in all its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is for members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
