Your Mission Help build, coach, and lead a team that delivers exceptional veterinary care with empathy and excellence. You’ll be the onsite leader ensuring the clinic is operationally sound and emotionally healthy. Responsibilities Coaching, mentoring, and developing a diverse team of humans who care deeply. Collaborating on hiring and onboarding with an eye toward both skill and cultural fit. Owning and optimizing the schedule to ensure flow, productivity, and sustainability. Managing performance, giving meaningful feedback, and championing growth. Contributing to a thriving business by upholding operational excellence and financial health as foundations for sustainable, high‑quality care. Modeling and maintaining a culture of kindness, curiosity, accountability, and humor. Advocating for the clinic and ensuring the team’s voice is heard in broader company conversations. Jumping in where needed—whether on the floor, in a client conversation, or in a strategy meeting. Qualifications 5+ years of people leadership experience (veterinary preferred, but not required). Ability to zoom into details while never losing sight of the big picture. Lead with humility and openness; see feedback as a tool for building trust and driving growth. Know how to create psychological safety, set expectations, and hold people to them with warmth. Excited to try new things, make mistakes, and help build something that doesn’t exist yet. Location & Schedule This role is based out of one of our San Francisco clinics. Evening and weekend availability is required to support a team that works when pets need us most. Compensation Pay range: $82,500 - $112,750 per year; base pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign‑on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
